Christmas morning is a time for family and togetherness.
We’re sharing our favorite Christmas morning breakfast ideas that are quick and easy so that you can get back to family time.
Now that our kids are older, Christmas morning is a lot more relaxed.
They don’t get up quite so early and they are more likely to stay in their room until we are ready to do the big reveal and open presents.
We take turns opening one present at a time so it can take close to an hour to ohh and ahhh over all the gifts.

Our Family Tradition
Our family tradition is to have Sausage Balls for breakfast on Christmas morning.
I make the sausage balls in advance and freeze them.
They cook in less than 30 minutes so I preheat the oven when we start opening presents.
When I think we have about 20 minutes left, I get up and stick the sausage balls in the oven then set the timer.
By the time we’re finished opening gifts, breakfast is ready to be put on the table.
We serve the sausage balls with honey and make Hot Chocolate to drink.

Make-Ahead Bonus
Breakfast dishes that can be made ahead and then finished in the oven on Christmas morning are the real MVPs of this list.
You can put the breakfast together the night before then bake it first thing in the morning.
Most of these recipes take less than an hour to bake so that gives you plenty of time to open presents or spend time with your family.
