Key to Success #1 – Begin With a No-Bake Peanut Butter Oreo Crust
The crust of this delectable no-bake peanut butter dessert starts with a package of Peanut Butter Oreos.
Since it’s a no-bake dessert, it can be made in any type of serving dish that you prefer, as long as it holds about 3 quarts.
A 13X9-inch Fiesta lasagna baker is the perfect dish for Peanut Butter Delight.
It comes in a variety of lovely colors and is the ideal size for this no-bake dessert.
If you have a food processor, you can use it to finely crush up all the Oreo cookies very quickly.
Simply throw all the whole Oreos into the food processor and pulse it a few times until the cookies are finely crushed.
If you don’t have a food processor, you can put the cookies in a gallon-sized zip-top baggie and smash them with a rolling pin.
Continue smashing the cookies until they are in little bits.
Try to crush the cookie crumbs as fine as possible so that it will be easier to form the crust.
Add the melted butter into the cookie crumbs and stir until just combined.
Pour the buttered crumbs into the serving dish and press them down firmly into a thin layer to form the crust.
Pop the crust into the freezer while you’re getting the other ingredients together.
This will help the crust hold together when you start adding the next layer.

Key to Success #2 – More Peanut Butter Flavor in the Cream Cheese Layer
Peanut Butter Delight’s peanut butter cream cheese layer is probably my fave.
You’ll need a block of cream cheese, a cup of powdered sugar, a cup of peanut butter, and half of a big tub of Cool Whip for the cream cheese layer.
Alternatively, one small tub of Cool Whip can be used.
However, allow an hour or longer for the cream cheese to soften before beginning.
This will make your task a lot easier for you.
Begin by mixing the cream cheese, peanut butter, and powdered sugar together with a hand mixer.
If you remember to soften the cream cheese, it will just take a minute or two for everything to come together.
Next, blend in the Cool Whip until everything is well mixed.
Spread this layer over the chilled crust. Place dollops of the peanut butter cream cheese all over the crust and then gently spread to the edges. This method will help your crust stay intact.
For the chocolate pudding layer, you may use full milk or low-fat milk to make the chocolate pudding layer.
Both are equally effective. In most cases, I use 2 percent milk.
I use the “shake” method, which involves pouring 3 cups of milk and two boxes of chocolate pudding mix into a plastic dish with a tight-fitting cover and shaking the bowl until the pudding thickens.
It’s quick and simple, and there’s less mess!

Key to Success # 3 – Top with Reese’s and Peanut Butter Chips
I know I said the peanut butter cream cheese was my favorite, but maybe the topping is my real favorite!
The Reese’s peanut butter cups, peanut butter chips, and Reese’s peanut butter sauce add such a decadent finish to this no-bake peanut butter dessert.
Spread the remaining Cool Whip over the pudding layer then add your favorite peanut butter toppings, such as Reese’s peanut butter cups.
Chop about 12 Reese’s miniatures and sprinkle them over the Cool Whip.
Then add about a half cup of peanut butter chips.
Finally, drizzle the Reese’s peanut butter sauce all over the top.
If you’re not familiar with peanut butter sauce, it’s often found with the ice cream toppings.
If you can’t find the peanut butter sauce, you can make your own by melting a half cup of peanut butter chips with 1 tablespoon of shortening in the microwave for about 30 seconds.
The difference is that this homemade sauce will harden when it cools whereas the ice cream topping will remain soft.
Either way, this Peanut Butter Delight recipe is the perfect dessert for the peanut butter fans in your life.

Notes
If you can't find the Peanut Butter Oreos, you can use regular Oreos.
Peanut butter sauce is often found in the ice cream toppings section of the grocery store. If you can't find the peanut butter sauce, you can combine 1/2 cup peanut butter chips with a tablespoon of shortening then microwave for 20-30 seconds to make a sauce. This sauce will harden when cooled whereas the commercially prepared peanut butter sauce will not.
