Key to Success #1 – Opt for Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls

It’s time to hop into the Easter spirit with a tasty and creative treat!

Who needs to hunt for eggs when you can unroll a can of Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls and turn them into adorable Bunny Shaped Cinnamon Rolls?

So put on your creative hat and let’s bring some festive fun to your kitchen!

Be sure that you get the Grands cinnamon rolls so that your bunnies will be big and bouncy and beautiful.

Key to Success #2 – Cool the Rolls Before Frosting

Let’s get hopping on some bunny-shaped cinnamon rolls!

Start by unrolling a Grands cinnamon roll halfway, so you have a long strip of dough.

Then, fold the long strip into two humps to create the bunny’s cute little ears on top of the coiled center of the dough.

Make sure to press the dough together tightly and pop those bunnies in the oven for 16-18 minutes at 350 degrees F.

You’ll end up with irresistibly puffy and light brown cinnamon rolls shaped like bunnies.

Let them cool for at least 10 minutes before adding the frosting.

Listen, I know those cinnamon rolls smell like heaven and you’re ready to dive into them straight out of the oven but trust me on this.

If you slather on the frosting while they’re still scorching, it’ll melt into the rolls and leave you with sad, melty bunnies.

Instead, take a deep breath (and maybe a whiff of that heavenly aroma) and let those buns cool off a bit.

Then, go to town with that pretty pink frosting and make your Easter brunch a feast for both the eyes and the stomach.

Key to Success #3 – Use Gel Food Coloring to Color the Frosting

As you patiently wait for your fluffy Bunny Cinnamon Rolls to cool down, it’s the perfect time to get creative and color the icing!

Don’t settle for boring frosting.

Add an extra quarter cup of powdered sugar and a few drops of milk to make some extra frosting for your bunnies.

For all the details, check out the notes on the recipe card below.

One thing to keep in mind is that gel food coloring is the way to go.

It won’t mess with your frosting’s texture.

You only need a few drops for intense pigmentation, and we recommend the gorgeous Soft Pink shade from Americolor.

But, feel free to experiment with different hues until you get the perfect color.

Once your icing is mixed to perfection, gently fold in your chosen gel food coloring drop by drop.

And, when your bunnies have cooled off, slather on that pretty pink frosting with a butter knife!

Top with Easter sprinkles or use pastel M&Ms to add a precious face to your cinnamon roll bunnies.
