  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Press cookie dough into a round or heart-shaped cookie pan.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes until lightly browned around the edges. Cool completely.
  • Once cool, mix up 1 batch of the vanilla buttercream frosting, coloring it pink. Fit a piping bag with a closed star tip, such as the Wilton 1M then add the frosting. Pipe stars all around the outside edge of the cookie cake.
  • Decorate with Valentine's Day sprinkles and conversation hearts.
  • On the inside of the cookie cake, use additional frosting to pipe stars to spell XOXO, LOVE, or other valentine-themed words or symbols. Decorate with red and pink M&Ms, if desired.
