Ingredients
 

  • 2 oz unsweetened chocolate bar
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup dark corn syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup pecan halves
  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie crust

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Thaw frozen pie crust for 10 minutes, if using a frozen crust.
  • In a saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate and butter together, stirring until smooth.
  • Beat together eggs, sugar, chocolate mixture, corn syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir in pecan halves. Pour into unbaked pie crust.
  • Bake uncovered for 40-50 minutes until just set in the middle.
  • Remove from the oven and cool for 10 minutes before serving.
