If you’ve been around here long, you know that one of our family traditions is baking cookies when it rains.

Luckily for our cookie-loving selves, today was one of those rainy days and cookie baking is what we did.

My son thinks rainy days are made for chocolate chip cookies, but we opted to bake The Best Peanut Butter Cookies today instead.

These cookies are seriously the best peanut butter cookies I’ve ever put in my mouth.

They are soft and chewy, not oily or dry.

You can bet they’re practically perfect in every way.

The Best

I hope you will try this peanut butter cookie recipe.

It really is the best.

One of the things that makes this recipe special is that it only uses brown sugar for sweetness in the cookie dough.

This leads to a nice, rich flavor without being overly sweet.

And it’s loaded with peanut butter.

A full cup and a half of peanut butter goes into these bad boys.

You will want to use a good ‘ole regular peanut butter like Jif Creamy.

I would not suggest a natural-type peanut butter for this recipe.

These cookies bake up beautifully.

Look at how even they are and how well they stack up on the plate.

They look so lovely all covered with sparkly sugar crystals.

Doesn’t it make you want to take a bite?

Better bake some today!
