Air Fryer Apple Crisp is a fall favorite that is full of fresh apples with a buttery oat topping that you will not want to miss. It has layers of flavor that are perfect this time of year.
In a small bowl, combine dry ingredients for the crumble topping. Use a fork to press the cold butter into the dry ingredients until the butter is combined. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Make the Apple Filling
Preheat air fryer to 370 degrees F. Grease four 6-ounce ramekins well.
Peel and core apples then cut into bite-sized pieces. Place apples in a medium bowl. Add in butter, flour, vanilla, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Stir to combine.
Divide apple mixture between four ramekins. Sprinkle crumble mixture over the apples.
Cook in the air fryer at 370 degrees for 15-17 minutes, until apples are softened and crumble is golden brown.
Notes
Serve with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce, if desired. Diabetic substitutions:
Reduce sugar in filling to 2 Tbsp
Eliminate sauce from filling
