In large stockpot, cook fettuccine pasta according to package directions.
While pasta is cooking, start cooking butter, cream cheese, and heavy cream in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add in garlic, Italian seasoning, and pepper. Continue cooking, whisking constantly, until sauce starts to simmer.
