Ingredients

  • 40 mini candy canes
  • 16 oz white almond bark
  • sprinkles for decoration
  • crushed candy canes for decoration

Directions

  • On a sheet of waxed paper, place the mini candy canes in pairs of two with the hooks and tips touching to form 20 hearts.
  • Place the almond bark in a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave for 1 minute then stir well. Continue heating in 30-second increments until the almond bark is fully melted. Stir well.
  • Spoon the almond bark between the two candy canes. Use a toothpick to spread the almond bark until it completely fills in the area between the candy canes.
  • Immediately sprinkle the almond bark with sprinkles or crushed candy canes to decorate.

Notes

If the candy canes start to push apart or get out of place, you can push them back into place.
Use a rolling pin to crush the candy canes for decoration.
