1pkg, 9 oz Pillsbury Shape Christmas Tree Sugar Cookies
1can, 14 oz fluffy white frosting
Christmas nonpareils sprinkles
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Place the sugar cookie dough on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool completely.
Stir the fluffy white frosting until smooth. Spoon frosting into a plastic zip-top baggie. Snip off the end of the bag and use it to pipe a frosting all over the back of one cookie. Place another cookie on top and squeeze until the frosting reaches the edge of the cookie sandwich.
Place the nonpareil sprinkles into a shallow bowl. Roll the edges of the sandwich cookies in the sprinkles.
Notes
You can use other types of sprinkles if you prefer; however, I think nonpareils look the best on these cookies. Choose your favorite festive colors!
