Ingredients
 

  • 1 pkg, 17.6 oz each fudgy brownie mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 3 Tbsp milk

PECAN PIE FILLING:

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8-inch square pan; set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together brownie mix, contents of the fudge packet, 1 egg, 1/2 cup melted butter, and milk until well blended. Pour into the pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, until a toothpick inserted 1 inch from the edge of the pan comes out clean. Remove from the oven.
  • While the brownies are baking, stir together brown sugar, corn syrup, 1 egg, 2 tablespoons melted butter, vanilla, and salt in a medium bowl. Stir in pecans.
  • Pour pecan filling evenly over the brownies, making sure the pecans are evenly distributed. Return the brownies to the oven for 15 minutes, until the filling is set.
  • Cool pecan pie brownies completely before cutting and serving.
