Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8-inch square pan; set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix together brownie mix, contents of the fudge packet, 1 egg, 1/2 cup melted butter, and milk until well blended. Pour into the pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 15 minutes, until a toothpick inserted 1 inch from the edge of the pan comes out clean. Remove from the oven.
While the brownies are baking, stir together brown sugar, corn syrup, 1 egg, 2 tablespoons melted butter, vanilla, and salt in a medium bowl. Stir in pecans.
Pour pecan filling evenly over the brownies, making sure the pecans are evenly distributed. Return the brownies to the oven for 15 minutes, until the filling is set.
Cool pecan pie brownies completely before cutting and serving.
