Air Fryer Cheese-Stuffed Doritos

Air Fryer Cheese-Stuffed Doritos are cheddar cheese triangles coated in crunchy Nacho Cheese Doritos and air fried until crispy outside and melty inside. Prepare them ahead and freeze, then cook them straight from frozen in just a few minutes for an easy snack or party appetizer.

  • Cut cheddar cheese into small triangles.
  • Use a food processor to crush Doritos into fine crumbs. Set aside.
  • In a shallow pan, beat together the eggs. In a separate shallow pan, place flour then season it with salt and pepper. In third shallow pan, place crushed Doritos chips.
  • One at a time, dip the cheese triangle into the seasoned flour then into the egg mixture. Next, press the cheese triangle into the cushed Doritos, fully coating all sides.
  • Place coated cheese triangles in a single layer a baking sheet covered with parchment paper then freeze for at least 2 hours until the cheese is frozen.
  • Preheat Air Fryer to 400 degrees F.
  • In batches, place frozen cheddar triangles into greased Air Fryer basket. Cook for 3 minutes. Use spatula to flip cheese and cook another 2-3 minutes until crispy.
