Air Fryer Chocolate Lava Cake

Air Fryer Chocolate Lava Cake is a fantastic Air Fryer Dessert that is bursting with chocolatey flavor. The molten chocolate center is so silky and delicious that you'll wonder where it's been all your life. It's perfect topped with a little powdered sugar or a big scoop of ice cream.

Ingredients

  • Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees F. Spray four 6-ounce ramekins with cooking spray.
  • In large microwave-safe bowl, combine butter and chocolate that has been broken into pieces. Microwave on high power in 30-second intervals, stirring well in between, until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
  • Remove from microwave and stir in powdered sugar until well combined. Add in eggs and egg yolks and vanilla. Stir well.
  • Gently fold in flour and salt until just combined. Evenly spoon into prepared ramekins.
  • Cook in preheated Air Fryer for 9-11 minutes, until outside is firm and inside is still moist and soft. Remove from Air Fryer and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Invert onto small plate then sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Notes

Diabetic Substitutions: 
  • Try reducing eggs by 1 whole egg
  • Omit salt
