If you're anything like me and prefer to avoid the mess and hassle of cooking burgers on the stove, then these Air Fryer Hamburgers are a game-changer. Not only do they taste fantastic, but they also eliminate the need for any greasy cleanup afterward.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef, lean
  • salt & pepper, to taste

Directions

  • Preheat the Air Fryer on 400 degrees F for 2-3 minutes.
  • Divide the ground beef into 4 even portions and form into round patties. Season both sides to taste.
  • Place the hamburger patties in a single layer in the basket of Air Fryer.
  • Cook on 400 degrees F for 10-12 minutes. Flip patties hafway through.

Notes

  • I recommend using 93% lean ground beef in these air fryer hamburgers.
  • Use a hamburger press to make even patties to ensure even cooking.
  • Press a shallow well into the center of the patties before cooking to prevent the burgers from shrinking.
  • To make cheeseburgers, place a slice of cheese on top of the patties after air frying then close the air fryer basket without turning the machine on. This will melt the cheese.
  • To reduce smoke from the air fryer, use leaner beef, empty grease if needed, and avoid overcrowding.
