Chili’s Skillet Cookie Recipe (Chocolate Chip Pizookie Copycat)

Make this Chili’s Skillet Cookie recipe at home. This warm chocolate chip pizookie is baked in a cast iron skillet and topped with ice cream for the ultimate restaurant-style dessert.

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  • Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.  Add egg and vanilla and beat well.  
  • Slowly add dry ingredients and mix well.  Stir in chocolate chips. (Reserve some to sprinkle on the top, if desired.)
  • Spread half the cookie dough into a well-greased oven-safe 9-inch skillet. Bake 25-30 minutes or until light brown and set in the middle.  

Notes

  • Bake time will vary depending on the size of your skillet.  I used a 9" cast iron skillet and it took about 30 minutes to bake.
