Ingredients

  • 1 pkg, 9 oz Pillsbury Shape Christmas Tree Sugar Cookies
  • 1 can, 14 oz fluffy white frosting
  • Christmas nonpareils sprinkles

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Place the sugar cookie dough on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool completely.
  • Stir the fluffy white frosting until smooth. Spoon frosting into a plastic zip-top baggie. Snip off the end of the bag and use it to pipe a frosting all over the back of one cookie. Place another cookie on top and squeeze until the frosting reaches the edge of the cookie sandwich.
  • Place the nonpareil sprinkles into a shallow bowl. Roll the edges of the sandwich cookies in the sprinkles.

Notes

You can use other types of sprinkles if you prefer; however, I think nonpareils look the best on these cookies. Choose your favorite festive colors!
