Directions

  • Cook bowtie pasta according to package directions. Drain.
  • Brown ground beef in a large skillet and drain excess grease.
  • Stir in marinara sauce, cream cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until smooth.
  • Add cooked pasta and ½ cup mozzarella cheese. Stir to combine.
  • Divide among 4 meal prep containers.
  • Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
    Optional Add-Ins: For extra flavor, cook ½ cup diced onion and 2 cloves minced garlic with the ground beef before adding the sauce. You can also stir in spinach, diced bell peppers, or zucchini for added vegetables.

Notes

 
  • Reheat in the microwave for 1 to 2 minutes or until heated through.
  • Add steamed broccoli, green beans, or a side salad for a complete meal.
  • Store in airtight meal prep containers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Meal Prep Tip: If the pasta seems dry after refrigeration, stir in a little marinara sauce or water before reheating.
