Directions

  • Place chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and seasonings.
  • Pour sauce mixture over the chicken.
  • Cover and cook:
  • Low: 6 hours
  • High: 4 hours
  • Shred chicken directly in the slow cooker using two forks.
  • Stir to coat well in sauce. Serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, sear the chicken briefly before placing in the crockpot.
If sauce is thin after shredding, remove lid and cook on HIGH for 20–30 minutes to thicken.
Freezes beautifully for meal prep.
