Football Double Decker Cookies

By layering football sugar cookies on top of chocolate chip cookies, you've made a double decker football cookie that is sure to score big points with the home team.

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • If using a roll of chocolate chip cookie dough, slice the roll into 20 even slices. Place the dough 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. If using break-apart cookie dough, break the dough apart and place it on an ungreased cookie sheet then use the bottom of a glass to flatten the dough.
  • Center one shape sugar cookie dough onto each disc of chocolate chip cookie dough.
  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until cookies are lightly browned.
  • Cool for 1 minute then remove the cookies from the baking sheet and place them on a sheet of wax paper to cool completely.
