Ingredients

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Unroll each cinnamon roll three quarters of the way and fold the long strip of dough into three humps on the bottom of the coiled center to form the bottom of the ghost.
  • Place ghost-shaped dough onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining rolls.
  • Bake 14-16 minutes until the cinnamon rolls are puffy and light brown. Remove from oven and allow cinnamon rolls to cool for at least 10 minutes.
  • Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the frosting that came with the cinnamon rolls. Stir well until the frosting is smooth. Use a knife to spread the frosting over the cinnamon rolls.
  • Place two candy eyeballs over the center swirl of the cinnamon rolls for the ghost's eyes.

Notes

For super white icing, you can omit the can of frosting that came with the cinnamon rolls and instead combine 1/2 cup of powdered sugar with 4-5 drops of milk then stir into a thick frosting. This can be used to outline the ghost figure or spread over the cooled cinnamon rolls.
