Notes

Make Ahead Instructions
This lasagna is designed to be assembled ahead of time. Prepare the lasagna, cover tightly with foil, and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight before baking.
Bake Immediately Option
If you prefer not to refrigerate the lasagna overnight, it can be baked right after assembling. Follow the same baking instructions.
Let the Lasagna Sit Before Baking
If the lasagna has been refrigerated overnight, remove it from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before baking. This helps it cook more evenly.
Using No-Boil Lasagna Noodles
No-cook noodles work perfectly in this recipe because they soften as the lasagna rests in the refrigerator. Be sure the noodles are fully covered with sauce so they cook properly.
Freezing Instructions
Lasagna freezes well before baking. Assemble the lasagna, wrap it tightly with plastic wrap and foil, and freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before baking.
Leftovers
Store leftover lasagna covered in the refrigerator for 3–4 days. Reheat individual portions in the microwave or warm the dish in the oven.
