Warm the cream cheese on your microwave’s defrost setting for 20-30 seconds until it is soft enough to mix easily.

Not the kind that is found in your grocery store in the little shaker bottle.

Or find a package that says freshly grated Parmesan cheese, such as the 4C Homestyle variety.

These cheeses will provide more flavor and a better texture for your dip.

The Good Seasons Zesty Italian Dressing Mix really shines in this easy dip recipe.

If you’ve never had any of the Good Seasons mixes, they’re a great way to add flavor to many different types of dishes.

The Good Seasons mixes can be found in many grocery stores or big box stores, such as Walmart.

You can find several different varieties, but this recipe calls for the Zesty Italian Dressing Mix.

  • 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 sliced green onions
  • 1 pkg Good Season Zesty Italian dressing mix


  1. In a small bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, green onions, and Italian dressing mix on low speed until fully combined. Increased speed to medium and beat until fluffy.
  2. Transfer to a serving bowl. Cover. Chill for at least 1 hour. Serve with pita crackers.
