Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip is a quick and easy sweet dip that is perfect when served with pretzels, butter cookies, graham cracker sticks, or even fruit. If you’re a fan of chocolate chip cookie dough, you’ll love this easy dip recipe. The cream cheese base of this dip makes it super easy. Key to Success #1 – Soften the Cream Cheese and Butter
This dip is super easy to make, but there are a few things to keep in mind.
The first step is to soften the cream cheese and butter so that everything can be mixed together easily.
You can put them out on the counter for approximately an hour before you begin.
If you don’t have time to wait for the cream cheese to soften, microwave it for about 20 seconds on high.
This should soften the cream cheese without causing it to melt.
Make sure you first unwrap the cream cheese!
Cream cheese is often wrapped in a foil-lined pouch, which is not microwave-safe.
Also, make certain that your bowl is microwave-safe.

Key to Success #2 – Use an Electric Mixer to Blend
This dish is extremely simple. All you have to do is combine all of the ingredients using an electric mixer.
You could certainly mix everything by hand, but I think an electric mixer is easier.
Another significant advantage is that your dip will be fluffy.
I’ve talked about this before, but this mixing bowl is the best for whipping up small batches of ingredients, like frostings.
The sides are tall and straight, ensuring that the ingredients don’t spew out all over the kitchen cabinets.
At least, that’s what happens in my kitchen!
Blend up all the dip ingredients except for the mini chocolate chips using the electric mixer.
Continue mixing until the dip is light and fluffy.
Finally, stir in the chocolate chips.
I use a spatula to stir in the chocolate chips, but you can use the electric mixer if you’d prefer.
Reserve a few mini chocolate chips to sprinkle over the top of your dip.
If you’re serving this dip for Christmas or another holiday, you can top it with festive sprinkles.

Key to Success #3 – Pick Your Favorite Snackers
I served my Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip with pretzel twists, but the possibilities are truly limitless.
It goes well with apples and other fruits, a variety of cookies, and even graham crackers
Simply place your dip in a ramekin or small serving dish, sprinkle a few extra chocolate chips on top, and serve with dippers on the side.
It’s ideal for the holidays or any other time of year.
You can put the dip into a holiday-themed bowl.
Or place your dipper options on a holiday platter.
Use holiday-themed cookies or dippers too.
