Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil.
Divide ground beef into four equal portions that are 6 ounces each. Use a hamburger press to form the beef into patties. Season with salt and pepper.
Place the hamburger patties on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each one. Bake uncovered for 15 minutes. Turn over the patties then cook another 10-15 minutes until the juices run clear and the meat is cooked through.
