Ingredients

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Spread the apple pie filling evenly into the prepared dish.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the dry snickerdoodle cookie mix (not the cinnamon sugar packet, if your mix came with one), melted butter, and optional salt until crumbly.
  • Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the apple pie filling.
  • Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar packet over the top.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly around the edges.
  • Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
  • If you prefer a crunchier topping, add ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts.
  • Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • Reheat individual servings in the microwave for 20-30 seconds.
  • The topping will be soft and cookie-like in some spots and slightly crisp around the edges. For a crunchier topping, add chopped pecans or walnuts.
