  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Set aside. Cut the English muffins into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a large skillet, crumble and brown the breakfast sausage. Drain well.
  • Layer half of the English muffins into the bottom of the greased dish. Add a layer of half of the cooked sausage then 1 cup of shredded cheese. Repeat the layers.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, salt, and pepper. Pour over the casserole.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and cook for another 30 minutes or until set. Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
