Cooking boneless chicken breast in the air fryer could not be simpler. You can use any seasoning that you prefer and it requires no oil! Healthy and delicious in 15 minutes.

Pick the Best Chickens
For this recipe, I bought two pounds of thin cut chicken breast.
You can cut the chicken breasts in half yourself if you’d like.
Don’t forget to carefully trim the breasts before you season them.
As Spicy As You Like It
If I’m cooking chicken breast for my lunches, I like to spice things up.
One of my favorite seasoning mixes is Slap Ya Mama Cajun seasoning.
You could use taco seasoning or Mrs Dash or anything you’d like.
Even simple salt and pepper would be great.
I’d opt for salt and pepper if I was going to be using the cooked chicken in another recipe.
Air Fryer Cooking
With chicken breast, you’ll want to cook them in your air fryer basket in a single layer.
I have a Cozyna XL (5.7 QT) Air Fryer and I can fit 2-3 chicken breasts at one time, depending on size.
I’ve never had an issue with cooking my chicken breasts for 7 minutes on the first side and 4 minutes on the second side, but you may need to adjust the time for your air fryer.
Delicious and Healthy Meal
I served my chicken breast with steamed broccoli and cauliflower and it was really delicious.
I used the Slap Ya Mama Cajun seasoning and it was plenty spicy for my taste.

Air Fryer Boneless Chicken Breast
Cooking chicken breast in the air fryer couldn't be easier! No oil is required and it takes only 11 minutes.
Ingredients
- 2-3 thin-cut chicken breasts
- seasoning salt
Instructions
- Preheat Air Fryer at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle seasoning salt on both sides of thin-cut chicken breasts. Add to air fryer in single layer.
- Cook at 400 degrees for 7 minutes. Flip chicken. Cook another 4 minutes on other side.
Notes
- I like to use Slap Ya Mama Cajun Seasoning or Mrs Dash seasoning. Use anything you prefer, even simply using salt and pepper is wonderful on this chicken.
- Leftover chicken can be frozen until ready to use.
