Why I Love This Recipe
What I adore about these Chicken Ranch Snack Wraps is their versatility and speed!
You can have them ready in no time, making them perfect for spontaneous snack cravings or lunch prep.
Plus, the combination of crunchy chicken and creamy ranch dressing is just heavenly!
Ingredients & Substitutions
This recipe consists of a few simple ingredients that pack a punch of flavor!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Tyson Southern Style Chicken Breast Tenderloins: These provide the crispy, juicy goodness that makes the wraps so satisfying. Feel free to swap them for your favorite chicken tenders or even grilled chicken for a lighter option!
- Taco-sized flour tortillas: Perfect for wrapping up all the delicious fillings! You can also use corn tortillas or lettuce wraps if you’re looking for a gluten-free option.
- Fiesta blend cheese: This adds a melty, cheesy element that complements the ranch dressing beautifully. If you prefer a different cheese, feel free to get creative with your favorites like pepper jack or cheddar!
- Shredded lettuce: This gives the wraps a fresh crunch. You could substitute it with spinach or mixed greens if that’s what you have on hand.
- Ranch dressing: Adding a creamy and zesty kick to the wraps! If you’re feeling adventurous, consider trying other dressings like BBQ or honey mustard for a different flavor profile.
How to Make Chicken Snack Wraps
Making these wraps is incredibly easy and straightforward!
Here’s how I do it:
- Heat the chicken breast tenderloins in the air fryer or microwave according to package directions. For the air fryer, cook at 370 degrees F for 16-18 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Once the chicken is heated through, microwave the tortillas on HIGH power for 15 seconds until warm.
- Top each tortilla with cheese, lettuce, and one chicken tenderloin. Drizzle ranch dressing over the top.
- Roll each tortilla tightly and secure with toothpicks if desired.

🔑 Key to Success #1 – Heat Up the Chicken Your Way
We love to use our air fryer to heat up chicken tenders or other convenience items in the frozen foods section.
The air fryer is much quicker compared to a traditional oven and it doesn’t heat up your entire kitchen when you’re just trying to make yourself a snack.
I like to use the Tyson Southern Chicken Tenderloin strips in this recipe because they get nice and crispy in the air fryer.
You can substitute any kind of chicken strip that you like. You can even use leftover chicken.
If you don’t have an air fryer, you can heat the chicken in the microwave.
The microwave will result in a less crispy chicken strip, but it will save you quite a bit of time if you are in a hurry.

🔑 Key to Success #2 – Use Soft Taco Sized Tortillas
For snack-sized wraps, we’re using soft taco-sized tortillas.
The taco-sized tortillas are perfect for wrapping up one chicken tender.
You could easily super-size this snack by using a burrito-sized tortilla and 2-3 chicken tenders, depending on how large they are.
Heat the tortillas in the microwave for 15-20 seconds so that they are soft before you make your wraps.
Warm tortillas are more pliable, and this will make it easier for you to roll up your wraps.
Do not overheat the tortillas, or they may get tough and chewy instead of soft.

🔑 Key to Success #3 – Don’t Overstuff the Tortillas
Since our chicken wraps are snack-sized, we’re using slightly smaller tortillas in this recipe.
The soft taco-sized tortillas are the perfect size to wrap around a single chicken tenderloin, but you have to make sure you’re not overstuffing it.
Be sure to keep the size of your tortilla in mind when adding your cheese and lettuce or any other toppings that you like.
If your tortilla is difficult to wrap around the chicken, you can just roll up the tortilla instead of wrapping it completely around the chicken.
Either way, this chicken ranch wrap is the perfect snack or light lunch.

Serving Suggestions
These wraps are delightful on their own, but they could also shine alongside a refreshing side salad or some crunchy veggie sticks for a vibrant meal. Pairing them with some homemade ranch dip or spicy salsa can take the experience to a whole new level!
Recipe Variations
Feeling inspired to mix things up?
Here are a few fun variations you can try:
- Spicy Chicken Ranch Wraps: Add sliced jalapeños or a few dashes of hot sauce for an extra kick!
- Buffalo Chicken Wraps: Substitute ranch dressing with buffalo sauce for a zesty take.
- Veggie Loaded Wraps: Amp up the nutrition by adding diced tomatoes, bell peppers, or your choice of veggies for a colorful crunch!
