Firstly, the combination of fresh strawberries and cheesecake is pure bliss.
The balance between fruity and creamy creates an explosion of flavors with each bite.

Ingredients & Substitutions
The simplicity of the ingredients list is part of the magic of this recipe.
Here’s why each component is essential and some possible substitutions to consider:
- Heavy whipping cream and milk: These two ingredients form the creamy base of the ice cream. If you’re lactose intolerant or prefer a dairy-free option, you can substitute with coconut milk or almond milk.
- Jell-O sugar-free cheesecake pudding mix: This gives the ice cream its cheesecake flavor and thick, luxurious texture. If you can’t find this, any other cheesecake-flavored pudding mix should work.
- Granulated sugar: Adds sweetness. You can adjust the amount to your taste or substitute with a natural sweetener like honey or stevia.
- Vanilla extract: Enhances the overall flavor profile and adds depth.
- Fresh strawberries: The star of the show! Fresh strawberries give bursts of fruity goodness. Frozen strawberries can be used in a pinch, but make sure to thaw them first.
How to Make Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream in the Ninja Creami
Making this Ninja Creami Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream is a breeze.
Here’s how to do it:
- Prepare the Strawberries: Start by dicing fresh strawberries and mixing them with a bit of sugar. Set them aside to let the flavors meld.
- Blend the Base: In a blender, combine your heavy whipping cream, milk, pudding mix, sugar, vanilla, and half of the strawberries. Blend for about a minute until smooth.
- Freeze: Pour the blended mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container and freeze it for at least 24 hours. Don’t forget to refrigerate the remaining strawberries!
- Process: After freezing, process the mixture in your Ninja Creami ice cream maker.
- Add More Strawberries: Incorporate the remaining diced strawberries, with or without the juice, and give it one final spin.
Key to Success #1 – Pudding Mix for Extra Creaminess
Adding cheesecake-flavored instant pudding mix to an ice cream recipe is a simple but effective way to enhance the creaminess and texture of the finished product.
I prefer the Jello brand because I think it has the best consistency when blended with the other ingredients.
The incorporation of pudding mix into the recipe serves to thicken and stabilize the mixture, which can help prevent ice crystals from forming during the freezing process.
This ultimately results in a smoother, creamier ice cream that is more enjoyable to eat.
You can use both regular or sugar-free pudding mixes in this easy Ninja Creami recipe.
This is great news for those watching their sugar intake or with dietary restrictions.
The added benefit of using a sugar-free pudding mix is that it can still produce the same creamy texture and stability as its sugar-filled counterpart, without the added calories.

Key to Success #2 – Use Equal Parts Milk and Cream
Here’s the deal, you gotta use equal parts of heavy whipping cream and milk to get that creamy, dreamy texture that’ll make your taste buds do a happy dance.
Why equal parts, you ask?
Well, the heavy whipping cream adds richness and deliciousness, while the milk helps prevent the ice cream from getting too thick or icy.
You want that perfect balance for your Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream.
It’s important to blend those ingredients together beforehand, preferably in a blender, before adding the mixture to the Creami.
This ensures that everything is evenly distributed and there are no clumps or separations happening.
Plus, blending it up gives the ice cream that smooth and luxurious texture we all crave.
Trust me, your taste buds will thank you for taking that extra step.
Last but not least, freeze the ice cream base solid before creaming.
This means leaving the ingredients in a pint Creami container in the freezer for at least 24 hours.
If the mixture is not totally frozen, it won’t churn properly in the Creami and you’ll end up with a soupy mess.
So, be patient, freeze that mixture solid, and then let the Creami work its magic.
Your taste buds will thank you for it!

Key to Success #3 – Re-spin with Extra Strawberries
Okay, so let’s talk about how to use the ice cream setting on your Ninja Creami to make the most delicious Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream.
First of all, you want to make sure your ice cream mixture is frozen solid before putting it in the Ninja Creami.
After you mix up your ice cream base, pour it into a Cream pint container.
Then stick it in the freezer for at least 24 hours.
Pop the frozen container into your Creami and set it to the ice cream setting.
Let it do its thing for about 2 minutes until it completes the cycle.
Now, if you want to add some extra strawberry goodness to your ice cream, here’s what you do.
Take some extra diced strawberries that have been tossed in a little bit of sugar.
Then, after your ice cream setting is done churning, open the lid and add in your diced strawberries.
Finally, let’s talk about the strawberry juice.
If you like your ice cream on the softer side, you can add in a little bit of strawberry juice when re-spinning your ice cream.
This will add some extra moisture to the mixture and give you a creamier texture.
However, if you prefer your ice cream to be a bit firmer, you can just leave out the extra juice altogether.
It’s totally up to you!

Serving Suggestions
