Key to Success #1 – Pick the Perfect Pan

For this Air Fryer Bacon-Wrapped Smokies recipe, you’ll need a shallow pan that will fit in your Air Fryer.

I have a Cozyna XL 5.8 QT Air Fryer and I have a Cozyna accessories set that perfectly fits the XL 5.8 QT Air Fryer.

The little flat pan in the accessory pack is perfect for this Air Fryer recipe.

You can use either a metal or glass pan that fits in the basket of your Air Fryer.

Key to Success #2 – Well, butter my sugar baby.

I got about 12 or 13 Lit’l Smokies in each batch.

When you’re slathering on the butter and brown sugar mixture, you don’t have to worry if the Smokies are not completely covered.

The butter and sugar will get all melty and bubbly and rise up to meet every square inch of meaty goodness.

Things are getting happy here!

Key to Success #3 – To turn? Or not to turn?

I highly recommend turning the Air Fryer Bacon-Wrapped Smokies halfway through cooking so that the bacon can crisp up on the other side.

Highly recommend.

Key to Success #4 – Let’s talk about the toothpicks.

I learned something about the toothpicks.

It’s much easier to eat the sausages if you don’t shove the toothpick all the way through so that it’s centered on the toothpick.

Just push it through a little bit and it’ll make eating so much easier.

This recipe is really easy, but the Air Fryer Bacon-Wrapped Smokies turn out so good.

The brown sugar gets all caramelized, much more than it does when you bake them in the oven.

Key to Success #5 – Oh my bacon yum!

I suggest Wright Brand hickory smoked bacon for this recipe because it’s basically the best.

It’s thick-cut bacon so that means you will need to cook the bacon a little longer to get it crispy.

I hope you’ll give this Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Lit’l Smokies recipe a try. Perfect party snack.
