Cookies in the Air Fryer
The Air Fryer is such a versatile appliance.
It’s amazingly useful.
It can make healthy chicken breasts, sizzlin’ appetizers, and even decadent desserts.
You can use your Air Fryer to make Chocolate Chip Cookies in the amount of time it would take to heat your oven!
You definitely can’t beat that.

How To Impress Your Kids
Noah helped me make these Air Fryer Chocolate Chip Cookies.
He’s 8 years old and such a great helper in the kitchen!
He loves to eat all my chocolate chips and lick the beaters super-clean.
Noah gets a big kick out of it when I put faces on food.
We called this cookie “Mr. Cookie Face.”
It’s so fun to do these little things to surprise him.
Sometimes I put pepperoni faces on our pizzas, too.
I have a whole Pinterest board of food animals and different ways to present food that might be fun or funny.

Pizookies in the Air Fryer
An easy way to make cookies in the Air Fryer is making them in a shallow baking pan.
I purchased an accessory set to go with my Air Fryer and it came with a small, shallow pan that fits perfectly in my Air Fryer.
(NOTE: The Air Fryer that I have is no longer sold but this Air Fryer is a Best Seller and has over 21,000 5-star reviews on Amazon.)
In the set, it’s called a pizza pan.

That makes this a Pizookie – a Pizza Cookie. A Cookie in a Pizza Pan.
The pan is probably about 6 inches in diameter and 1 inch deep.
It worked perfectly for this Air Fryer Cookie Recipe.
I have also used an 8-inch cake pan and it works great as well.
The 8-inch cake pan fits perfectly in my air fryer too, but check your air fryer to see if it will work for you.

Nothing Basic About This Cookie
I used my favorite Cookie Cake recipe for the basis for this Air Fryer Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe.
The best cookies are made with room-temperature butter, not melted butter.
I’m just saying.

Then I took this wonderful cookie recipe and added chocolate chunks.
I had chocolate chips, but who doesn’t love the big chunks.
You can use chocolate chips, add nuts, substitute peanut butter chips.
Go ahead and make these cookies your favorite.
You don’t have to put a face on it if you don’t want to.
I know some people have a problem with eating food that’s looking at them.
Just kidding, probably.

The Air Fryer Makes It Fast and Easy
After you preheat your Air Fryer, you can cook these cookies in about 10-12 minutes.
At 10 minutes in my Air Fryer, these Chocolate Chip Cookies were slightly under-baked, which is exactly how I like them.
I’d suggest checking your pan cookie after 10 minutes then adding 1-2 more minutes if needed.

Make Extra
This Air Fryer Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe makes 2 pan cookies unless your kid eats all the extra cookie dough while you have your back turned!
I wish I was kidding.
The Air Fryer bakes these cookies so quickly that you can put them in the Air Fryer right as you sit down at the dinner table and it’ll be ready in time for dessert.

Have you ever been to one of those restaurants that serve the skillet cookies hot out of the oven with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream on top?
You could totally do this at home in your Air Fryer!
To-Die-For!
Now you see why I said, “Make Extras”?
You’re welcome!

Hello can you substitute the butter with olive oil?
Jennifer

I wouldn't recommend substituting butter with olive oil. The butter and sugar need to be creamed together well to get some air into your cookie. I think you would not get the same result with olive oil. Sorry.

Love this idea, but is it really 1,100 calories per serving?! That can't be right???

The 1,100 calories is for a whole pan cookie! You can split each pan cookie into 4 servings or even 6 servings if you have decent self control! ?

Great recipe! The only thing is that it was super brown on the outside and raw on the inside. I don’t know if I should lower the temperature and cook longer... (we still ate it all gooey.)

I think this sometimes happens when the pan is too small. There is too much batter and it doesn’t have time to fully cook through. I would try lowering the temp and cooking a bit longer. Or cook the dough in batches.

This is so easy and delicious! I didn’t use a pan lined my air fryer with Aluminum foil and baked all at 1 time. Family loved it.
