Crock Pot Crack Chicken Pasta
Ingredients
- 2-3 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 pkt Ranch seasoning
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese shredded (divided)
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon pieces or Bacon Bits
- 16 oz box penne pasta
- salt
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of a Crock Pot. Season with black pepper and Ranch seasoning. Add 1/2 cup shredded cheese, cream cheese, and chicken broth.
- Cook on LOW for 4-6 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender. Shred chicken with two forks.
- Boil a large pot of water for the pasta then salt the water, add your pasta, and cook the pasta according to the package directions, about 10 minutes.
- Add the drained pasta to the Crock Pot along with bacon pieces and stir well. Top with the remaining 1 cup shredded cheese and additional bacon pieces. Close the lid and cook on low for 10 minutes until the cheese melts.
