Crock Pot Baked Ziti
Ingredients
- 2 jars 24 oz each marinara sauce
- 1 lb ground beef browned and drained
- 16 oz mozzarella cheese
- 16 oz box ziti pasta
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Grease a 6-quart Crock Pot. Layer in half of the uncooked ziti pasta, half the ground beef, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, and 1 jar of marinara sauce.
- In a medium bowl, stir together the ricotta, eggs, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the marinara.
- Repeat the layers with the rest of the pasta, half the ground beef, 1 cup of mozzarella, the rest of the ricotta mixture, and the other jar of marinara sauce. Make sure the pasta is covered with the sauce.
- Sprinkle the rest of the parmesan and the rest of the mozzarella on top.
- Cook on HIGH power for 3-4 hours.
