Ingredients

  • 2 jars 24 oz each marinara sauce
  • 1 lb ground beef browned and drained
  • 16 oz mozzarella cheese
  • 16 oz box ziti pasta
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  • Grease a 6-quart Crock Pot. Layer in half of the uncooked ziti pasta, half the ground beef, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, and 1 jar of marinara sauce.
  • In a medium bowl, stir together the ricotta, eggs, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the marinara.
  • Repeat the layers with the rest of the pasta, half the ground beef, 1 cup of mozzarella, the rest of the ricotta mixture, and the other jar of marinara sauce. Make sure the pasta is covered with the sauce.
  • Sprinkle the rest of the parmesan and the rest of the mozzarella on top.
  • Cook on HIGH power for 3-4 hours.
