Ingredients

  • 2 jars (24 oz each) marinara sauce
  • 1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
  • 16 oz mozzarella cheese
  • 16 oz box ziti pasta
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Grease a 6-quart Crock Pot. Layer in half of the uncooked ziti pasta, half the ground beef, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, and 1 jar of marinara sauce.
  2. In a medium bowl, stir together the ricotta, eggs, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the marinara.
  3. Repeat the layers with the rest of the pasta, half the ground beef, 1 cup of mozzarella, the rest of the ricotta mixture, and the other jar of marinara sauce. Make sure the pasta is covered with the sauce.
  4. Sprinkle the rest of the parmesan and the rest of the mozzarella on top.
  5. Cook on HIGH power for 3-4 hours.
