Lemon Blueberry Cream Cheese Danishes
Ingredients
- 12 ct pkg King’s Hawaiian Rolls
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- zest of 1 lemon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg yolk
- egg wash whisk 1 egg white + 1 Tbsp water
- 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup blueberry pie filling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, and egg yolk until smooth.
- Cut out the inside of the slider buns. Brush the egg wash on the tops of the rolls then sprinkle with granulated sugar.
- Fill with the cream cheese mixture. Top with blueberry pie filling and bake for 15 minutes.
